Abstract:
In this exceedingly difficult conjuncture, in which humanity is trying to overcome the pandemic, museums all over the world, including Romania, are trying to recover and reinvent themselves. It is an exceptionally challenging task. The present issue of the Romanian Journal for Museums is devoted to this subject. Other issues are those on the way museums have faced the pandemic, the restitution of museum buildings and collections and to the anniversary of the zonal laboratories for conservation and restoration in museums. The view of the author is not remarkably optimistic.
