Description

The specialization course for the managerial occupation of cultural organizations is addressed to the management of cultural organizations, as well as to all those who wish to follow, consolidate or simply find out details about what a career in cultural organization management means.

Cultural organizations, whose purpose is to produce cultural goods and services, require a complex specialization and adaptation, on the one hand, to the general principles of management and, on the other, to the specificity of cultural management. By cultural organization we acknowledge the legal entity, public or private, whose scope of activity is the production of cultural goods and services. For independent cultural organizations (non-profit), the activity of the cultural manager is regulated by Law no. 22/2014 for amending and supplementing O.G. no. 26/2000 regarding associations and foundations, with the subsequent modifications and completions and the constitutive documents of the cultural organization. For cultural organizations in the private sector, which operate in the creative industries environment (publishing houses, production houses, etc.), the activity of the cultural manager is regulated by Law no. 31/1990 on companies – updated and consolidated in 2015 and specific legislation for companies and cultural and creative industries. The manager of the cultural organization plans, organizes and coordinates the activity of the subordinated structures, controls and evaluates the implementation of the decisions and the degree of achievement of the assumed objectives, depending on the specific professional field and the form of organization.
