Ministry of Culture: “Read Romanian” Campaign
The Ministry of Culture, as the initiator, with the support of eMAG, of the Romanian Writers ‘Union and of the Romanian Publishers’ Association, launched a campaign to promote Romanian books, called ”Read Romanian”. The aim of the project is to promote the books of Romanian authors, along with achieving better communication between Romanian authors and their readers. Specifically, on the eMag platform will be available over 2100 titles from over 1100 authors, from various fields, from fiction books, history or economics, to children’s books.
At the same time, the project wants to increase book consumption in general and to cover the gap left during the pandemic by the lack of access to major bookstore chains and the organization of book fairs.
