On Wednesday, the 12th of December, h. 16:00, the National Institute for Cultural Research and Training is organising the launch of the cultural project “Heritage for the Next Century“, at The ARK, Bucharest, no. 150 Uranus Street.

The project proposes an awareness and education campaign on the necessity to protect the national cultural heritage and to fight vandalism on historical monuments.

The campaign is mainly addressed to young people and is based on the results of a sociological study on the teenagers’ attitudes towards the national cultural heritage.

Within this event, we shall present a series of instruments through which we intent to draw youngsters’ attention on the importance of heritage protection and valorisation, such as:

  • augmented reality
  • new technologies and media
  • digital instruments for interactive education and
  • digital art

The launch will be followed by a vin d’honneur.
