Cultural education. Pandemic version

The Museum of the Municipality of Bucharest, in partnership with the National Institute for Cultural Research and Training, organized the online event Cultural Education. The pandemic version on November 5^th, 2020. It is part of the series of annual marketing conferences organized by the Museum of the Municipality of Bucharest, starting in 2014.

Given the current context, this year’s edition took place in the form of an online event, containing videos, mostly recorded especially for this event, posted on the Facebook page of the event and on the YouTube accounts of the Museum and the National Institute for Cultural Research and Training, thus respecting all special health rules in order to prevent the spread of SARS-CoV-2.

Opening:

9.00 – Introductory speech: Dr. Adrian Majuru, Manager of the Museum of Bucharest, who talks about education in pandemics, how it evolves today, what effects these changes will have, but also what happened in similar situations in the past.

9.15 – Introductory word: Assoc. dr. Carmen Croitoru, General Director, National Institute for Cultural Research and Training.

Presentations:

9.30 – About the online and offline activities proposed by the Museum of Bucharest in pandemic, with Veronica Leca, museum educator, Museum of Bucharest, and Alexandra Cucu, museum educator and psychotherapist.

9.45 – About the comic projects with Grăjdeanu Mihai Ionuț, author of comics and graphic novels, the initiator of the series of exhibitions Masters of the Romanian comics / COMICS DIDACTIC – Romanian Comics and BD Historia – Historical Comics.

10.00 – About technology as a bridge to the community, with Daniela Miscov, Artelier D Manager, Projects for children.

10.15 – About the Club ȚOMAPAN project, with Delia Popa, Co-founder of the Artcrowd Association.

10.30 – National Museum of the Romanian Peasant: Distance education, with Valentina Bâcu, Head of the Creativity Office, Museum Education Section, Museum of the Romanian Peasant.
