Description
Copyright on a literary, artistic or scientific work, as well as on any such intellectual creation works, is recognized and guaranteed in Romania by Law 8/1996 on Copyright and related rights. Thus, the author (sculptor, plastic artist, writer, architect, actor, etc.) can use his original creation according to his appreciation, in order to satisfy his personal non-patrimonial or patrimonial interests, within the limits of the legal provisions. Within public cultural institutions, it is necessary that the employees know and use the law correctly in order to be able to identify the optimal, and at the same time legal, ways to use the creations. During the three days of the workshop the most relevant legal issues that are the subject of copyright will be addressed. The workshop is conducted in an interactive manner, which gives the participants the opportunity to debate the examples proposed by the readers and to discuss their own cases and problems. The workshop will be completed with a certificate of participation.
