Description

The course allows the acquisition of the theoretical knowledge, practical skills and training of skills necessary to practice the occupation of librarian. The course program combines theory with practice in workshops, case studies and documentary visits to the Central University Library “Carol” and to the National Library of Romania, etc.

Students

  • employees of public cultural institutions that do not hold a certificate in accordance with the legal framework in effect, thus unable to occupy a position as librarian, but have responsibilities in this regard;
  • natural or legal persons interested in obtaining certification for this occupation.

Trainers: Mihaela – Petruța Voicu, Mihaela Vazzolla, Ligia Necula, Angela Tudor, source specialists with relevant experience in the field of librarianship.

Requirements

  • Higher studies with a bachelor’s degree in related fields.

Evaluation

The graduation of the program involves completing the two modules, taking and passing the graduation exam.

Graduation exam:

  • written test (grid type test);
  • project support (realized according to the requirements received during the program).

The graduates of the course will receive a Certificate of graduation recognized at national level by the Ministry of Labour and Social Justice and the Ministry of National Education, accompanied by a descriptive Supplement in which the acquired professional competences will be stipulated, according to the occupational standard in effect.
